About Roku Feed


A new feature called ‘Roku feed’ is currently enabled in the roku platform. So what’s special about this Roku feed and what’s the outcome for the users? 

As the first part of this Roku feed, a feature called ‘Movies coming soon’ has been launched.

By clicking this feature on Roku home menu, the user can view the list of movies that are still running on the theatre screens, yet to arrive soon on the Roku platform.

If you are selecting a movie using this feature, you will receive an automatic notification on the feed, when this movie is launched and ready on stream on your Roku.

Requirements
You should own the latest Roku streaming player with a software update of 6.2 or higher versions to avail this feature. If you are buying the current generation latest releases, you don’t need to worry about getting this feature on Roku.

What you can do with the Roku feed?
  • Go to the My.roku.com/link now you can see an option called ‘My feed’ under the menu
  • By clicking 'my feed' option, you will get the ‘Movies coming soon’ tab
  • Click that tab to see the available movies
  • Select your favorite choice in the list and then click ‘ok’ button in your remote
  • A pop-up will arise with some set of options
  • Select the ‘follow this movie on Roku’ to get updates about this movie on your feed
  • Once the movie is launched, you will get notified and enjoy streaming
Following a Movie
You can select as many movies as you want, there are no limitations. If the same movie is available on multiple top streaming channels, then you will receive the notification of all the available channels for the movie.
